1. Introduction & Overview

Welcome to FanVote ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. This comprehensive Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (FanVote.us) or use our platform, including any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or mobile application related or connected thereto (collectively, the "Site").

Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the site. By continuing to use FanVote, you consent to the data practices described in this document. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. 2. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Site includes:

  • Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, shipping address, email address, and telephone number, and demographic information, such as your age, gender, hometown, and interests, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Site.
  • Voting & Profile Data: Information regarding your selected favorite teams, historical voting records (Top 25 ballots), and specific poll interactions. This data is the core of our "Fan Consensus" algorithm and is stored securely to calculate national averages.
  • Derivative Data: Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Site, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Site.
  • Financial Data: Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g., valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that we may collect when you purchase, order, return, exchange, or request information about our services from the Site. We store only very limited, if any, financial information that we collect. Otherwise, all financial information is stored by our payment processor, Stripe, and you are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.
  • Mobile Device Data: Device information, such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer, and information about the location of your device, if you access the Site from a mobile device.

3. How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Site to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Calculate aggregated polling data (the "Fan Consensus") ensuring conference and fanbase normalization.
  • Process your purchases, transactions, and payments through our integration with Stripe.
  • Deliver targeted advertising, coupons, newsletters, and other information regarding promotions and the Site to you.
